Mealtime at the Adrian Suskin Center

Feeding Program

Three consistent, nutritious meals a day — the daily foundation every other program depends on.

Why consistent meals matter

Reliable nutrition affects everything from a child's ability to concentrate in school to their long-term health. Our feeding program sources staple foods and, increasingly, fresh vegetables grown in our own greenhouse, to keep meals consistent even when other resources are stretched thin.

Every donation to this program goes straight to the kitchen — ingredients, equipment, and the staff who prepare meals each day.

What's needed right now

  • Maize meal, beans, and cooking oil (bulk staples)
  • Fresh vegetables to supplement greenhouse harvests
  • Kitchen equipment: pots, storage containers, a working stove
  • Funding to cover a month of meals for the Center
